Dear Hair

Dear hair,
Please tell me why you always decide to grow quicker once I've dyed you. Please, take no offense, because I want you to grow, but it can't be possible that I've got blond roots already, surely. Of course, they are barely visible, but they are there.

And why is it that you decide to grow faster at the back, and slower at the sides? I love you, hair, I really do. You are so soft and shiny, and you don't make my life hell, but, just answer those questions for me. Don't forget, I do love you.

I am exceedingly grateful that you do grow so quickly. It makes my life a lot simpler, knowing that growing my hair isn't such a tricky business. And, you are naturally straight, and I appreciate that so much. Thank you.

Auditioning

Good God. So, our school does a musical every two years, and tomorrow I'm going to collect an audition form and just put my neck on the line and just audition for a lead role. Because, if I don't get that I might still get another part. And, how often to you get to take part in a low-budget musical in school? :P

I've auditioned for the school's performance of Much Ado About Nothing, but I've never done a musical audition. I wonder what it's like. I'm sort of buzzing, and I don't know if that's wrong. Oh well, I like to think I can act at least a little, and my singing isn't that bad. Who knows, maybe it'll go well. I'll inform you guys, of course. :)

Too cool for school, gurl.

I went into the city today to get some new school trousers. And, thankfully we found some straight away. As well as some really awesome new boots for the spring. :D And, I'm back in kid's sizes. I've lost almost 4 kilos since I last went on Wii Fit Plus like 3 months ago.

I went into Superdrug to buy some new make-up because I may have accidentally lost some of mine in Germany. I don't even know how. So, bought some and mum and I just wandered around, and I asked if we can go in this gadget shop. On the way there I saw a woman wearing turquoise and black clothes, belted platform and was guiding her little daughter by the hand. I have nothing against people expressing themselves via clothes. It's quite the opposite. I love it when people express themselves, but I think that everybody wearing SuperDry stuff or Hollister stuff isn't expressing yourself. No offense, people. God, if I had a pound every time I had to say that.

Anyhoo, that made me think of popularity, and I wondered what marks a person's "cool-factor" while I was listening to some Indie music with my earphones that look like duckies.

How proud of me are you for being so cool that I own ducky earphones?
Yeah. Can you handle it?

Love it when you call me legs, in the morning buy me eggs

Except not really, because I don't like eggs. Unless in cakes and sauces. And, there is that whole scandal with the carcinogenic in eggs because of what stupid German farmers fed their chickens. An illegal act, and yet, somehow, some of the tainted eggs made it to England. So stupid. Unbelievable, really.

Anyway, that wasn't what I was going to talk about. I was going to say something about Britany Spears, but then I remember the GaGa, and the Perry. Then I thought about music nowadays, I thought I had to say this:

Everybody and I mean everybody, complains about the music from their time. "Oh, what is this rubbish? Good God, a dying cat would sound better." In some cases it is true, but every musician molds the music of the future in some way. For the GaGa, that's a good way. For the Bieber, not so much. Sorry all Bieber fans that I may have offended, but, really? Apparently he is such a diva. Like, really horrible.
So, smile, endure the terrible music and block it out with good music, yes?

DFTBA. Don't forget that brains attract.

I am so bored. Sometimes, before I go to sleep I wonder if I'll be in a 'real' relationship by the time I'm twenty. You know what happens? I sleep. And I mean like a log. No, I don't. It keeps me up all night.

I don't do it often, mind. Just sometimes. On the days when I don't feel pretty. When I wonder if anyone actually likes a bossy smart arse who doesn't know when to stop being a know-it-all. Those days are the days when I put on my smile and start my day. A fake smile, but I like to think that I am alright at pretending. But if my friends are reading this, I don't want you to start worrying about me, because it actually helps me see things in perspective.

I'm sure many children would kill to have my chances. Sure, my family isn't that rich, but we have common sense and intelligence. And brains do attract, and I just hope that I can find someone who will love my strange sense of humour as much as my stubborn-ness.

This is me, just let the light shiiine on meeee! Now I know how I fee- ... Sorry.

So, tenth blog post. I am such a sad child for getting excited about this. But, I thought I'd do a collab of the things I am. Basically, things that I and others associate with the person that we all know as Alina.
Let's go!

• I am roughly 1450mm tall, and that's 4 foot 7. I'm not sure though. I haven't measured myself in a while.
• I'm naturally blonde, but in Year 7 I cut my hair really short and dyed it brown. Now it's reddish brown and I'm growing it.
• My birthday is on Christmas Day, I'm German, and I'm a Christian.
• I've always wanted to have a vlog, but I never find the guts to do it. I tell myself I don't have time to make myself feel better.
• I am a nerd. Good god, I could not live without my books and nerdy shows. Doctor Who, Doctor Who Confidential, Harry Potter, Spongebob Squarepants, Dr House, NCIS, The Mentalist, Criminal Minds, Scrubs, etc.
• I have somewhat of an addiction to YouTube.
• I want to go to university and study Psychology.
• I love my friends. (Hey, what a surprise.)
• I am confident about the way I look. I may be short, but I like to think that I'm not too fat and that I'm quite pretty. I already said this, but I don't know many people that can honestly say that. 
• I know that the fact that all I do is talk about myself on my blog makes me seem really vain, but you know, it's my blog. If any of my friends read this, they can leave me comments. I'd love it if they did. 
• I like meeting new people.
• And most importantly, I like you. You're reading this, so either you're thinking that I'm a strange person, or you want to know about me. :) And that makes me like you.
